Head of Sales (Interim or Permanent position) 

INDUSTRY: Automotive Suppliers

Location: South West of Germany – at the customer’s site

Start: As soon as possible 

Duration: approx. 3 – 6 months – min. 4 days on site – optional: permanent position

About the Company: Customer is an international EMS manufacturer and supplier to the automotive industry.

Tasks of the Head of Sales:

The head of sales moves routinely in the areas of strategic business and sales planning, business process management, customer acquisition and support, knowledge of the EMS business environment and essential (manufacturing) processes, contract and risk management, and depicts the following core tasks :

  • Experience in the proactive contribution of strategic and overarching impulses to optimize company-related sales processes
  • Review and further development of sales processes and organization
  • System-side company-wide implementation of new, innovative business processes and customer-centered functionalities
  • Proactive stakeholder and above all customer management
  • Systematic analysis of electronics manufacturing trends and their consequences for the company

 Furthermore, the following classic tasks are part of the candidate’s day-to-day business:

  • Development and optimization of the product roadmap with the specialist departments
  • Leadership and professional development of the individual team members, taking their respective roles into account
  • Establish goals and strategies for the sales department
  • Intensive control and coordination of all relevant sales activities of the company
  • Planning, implementation and control of sales measures in cooperation with partners and / or service providers
  • Budget planning and management for the area
  • Process analysis and optimization as well as the development of proposed solutions
  • Analysis of the costs, values ​​and risks of the offers and orders in order to advise management and propose actions

 Candidate profile

  •  Completed degree in (Business) Electronics, Mechatronics or a similar training in this area
  • Proven experience as head of sales or in a similar management position e.g. team leader
  • You have already led sales teams and have had disciplinary management responsibility
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive and industrial electronics and the EMS industry in German-speaking countries
  • Experience in the design / development of customer relationships and the planning and implementation of offers and order processing
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You act as a driver of innovation and have experience with electronics manufacturing topics
  • In addition, at best, you yourself come from a technical (electronics) world and therefore understand relationships even better
  • Ideally, you already have a lot of experience with electronics customers
  • Age structure around 40 +/- 5 years
  • Your skill set is complemented by a confident demeanor as well as an open and positive manner of communication
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

This position needs to be filled as soon as possible. The company is open for an Interim Manager as a short term solution

Key Account Manager (Permanent position) 

INDUSTRY: Automotive Suppliers

Location: South West of Germany – at the customer’s site

Start: As soon as possible 

Duration: Permanent position

About the Company: Customer is an international EMS manufacturer and supplier to the automotive industry.

Tasks of the Key Account Manager:

  • Technical sales of our EMS services
  • Independent care of important key accounts
  • Expansion of business relationships with existing customers
  • Acquisition of strategically important new customers
  • Advice customers with regards to planning, feasibility and implementation of their wishes and ideas, including pricing, condition negotiations and offer preparations
  • Implementation of sales and demand planning (forecast) within the area of ​​responsibility
  • Participation in contract negotiations for the customers to be supported

  Candidate profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable subject
  • Well-founded know-how in B2B sales of high-quality technical services from the electronics sector, ideally in the EMS and/or automotive sector or supplier industry
  • Very good negotiating skills, convincing and have confident demeanor
  • A goal-oriented way of working
  • Ability to deal with conflicts as well as a pronounced customer and service orientation
  • Willingness to travel (business trips)
  • Very good written and spoken English and German
  • Perfect handling of MS Office
